Mission Statement

Critical Abrasives' mission is to develop highly specialized abrasive products for highly specialized applications.

Critical Abrasives was founded with the vision of producing innovative abrasive solutions that enable mirco-precision and pharmaceutical facilities to clean their critical equipment without bringing undesirable products into their controlled environments.

To realize this vision, we develop evolutionary abrasive products that are ideal for use in semiconductor fab process cleaning, as well as other critical high-tech and pharmaceutical applications.

Reducing Environmental Impact

Critical Abrasives NuFab and NuPharm Abrasive Pads are produced in a continuous environmentally-friendly production process. We use a solvent-free process with elasticated adhesives which produces extra flexibility and maximum adaptability to the contours of the tool being cleaned. The extra-soft foam backing adapts perfectly to all flat and rounded surfaces and can also be folded without cracking. These characteristics ensure an even and perfect abrasive cleaning pattern without rogue scratches.

Critical Abrasives uses specialty closed cell foam. The closed cell structure will not allow liquid, particulate, or contaminates into the foam or out of the foam. The result is the highest quality, soft, semi-rigid product with a fine uniform cell structure that is suitable for use in a wide variety of cleaning situations and applications in critical environments.
